Well today was a very busy day but I managed to get just over 2k hands in poker...and it was definitely a wild ride. I started off +300 immediately in like 300 hands, then all the sudden I ran into a bunch of sick beats and coolers. I lost two 2 outers in 50 hands... ended up being down 80 and I quit for a few hours.
Went back to the grind later at night and ended up playing about 1500 hand session and made 6 buy ins to make for a +$550 day. Feels good to have this day after yesterday where I couldnt win anything...
So now Im laying in bed with my wireless keyboard/mouse and wathing a CR video and typign this blog... and I realize that my life is pretty sweet for a 19 yr old college student... and I have pretty much everything I could ever want right now. I definitely consider myself very lucky to be making money playing a game. I had a few thoughts that I wanted to add to my September goals list...
Poker Goals: *Study/learn PLO
*4 table 25PLO for atleast 5k hands this month
*Datamine whenever Im not on the compute, both 100NL
and 100NL HU
*Play a few thousand hands of HU, 4 tabling
*Practice good game selection, especially for HU tables
Ive been wantting to learn PLO for awhile now and it seems everyone is starting to play it because theres a lot of money to be made. Also I have always done pretty well in HU and I want to play some more of it, I dont plan on playing more than 5k hands of HU or PLO however because Im really focused on my 50k hands of 6max.
Thats all I can think of for now, I have till August 31st to think and add ore goals, but I think thats gonna be about it. Bedtime, class in 6 hours!
